I heard your voice. And Harrowhark's, I think? And some other people's voices but it was mostly you I could hear, where we went. I think I even felt your emotions sometimes.

[cavaliered]

[she is stiff as a board, sunglasses very firmly in place.]

You what. [she's not angry, just baffled.] Sorry, you heard me? Are you sure?

Forget that - what other voices? What did they say?

There was a lot, but...

[She thinks. A few things were said, but one is sticking in her mind.]

"Ten thousand years ago there were sixteen acolytes of the King Undying, and then there were eight. Who were the cavaliers to the Lyctor faithful? Where did they go?"

That was one of the voices I didn't recognize.

[cavaliered]

[immediately - i mean, like, instantly, she makes a face.]

Wait, you ran into Tridentarius? Blonde lady. Looks like a drowned rat that's been hung out to dry. Chapped lips, horrible ass. [another pause.] Wait.

[she's realizing what tuuri just said, and it makes her face go pale.]

[Okay she. She can't help but let out a snort at that last part. Of course the resident disaster lesbian would notice if a woman had a bad ass or not.]

No, we didn't actually see her. We just heard her voice. So I can't comment on if her ass is terrible or not.

Well, it is. [she has very firm opinions on this. ianthe is the nastiest skank bitch she's ever met do not trust her]

If you heard that, though, you... were in her room, right?

I don't know? It was a room that looked like it had been a classroom once, with desks and books and everything. And then there were some unconscious people there too, and a bunch of tools that looked like they were for cutting people open.

Yeah. That's the one. [...] What did you do?

[like she knows. because she does, in a way, she has an inkling.]

[She hesitates, and she rubs at her shoulder.]

There was a monster, and a woman within the monster. She had long hair and blue eyes...Cytherea? I think that was her name. But the monster and the woman were banging on the door, and they were about to burst the door down, and the four of us were told to choose.

Itto refused, and the monster killed him instantly. And then one of the people sprung to life instead.

ok, ok, well! she rubs her face.]

Not exactly. [she mutters, almost to herself.] And - what, did she kill all of you?

[polyglotti]

No, Hunter chose to kill himself to save the person he recognized. That girl came to life too, and she was ready to fight.

Lavi and I...we killed the other two people remaining. The ones who were unconscious. That's why we didn't die: we gained their powers, just like how Itto and Hunter's powers had gone to their respective people.

[cavaliered]

[a slow, steady exhale.]

That's why they came out that way. Those were their necromancers. [...] And you and Lavi were necromancers, too.

[polyglotti]

...huh. But when we had to use that strange machine, Lavi and I were a pair with me as the necromancer.

[something something switching up roles as the CYOA calls for it.]

[dryly:] One flesh, one end.

[and then, abruptly:] I don't want to talk about this, actually.

Okay.

[Yeah, she can tell that means the conversation is over. No arguments from her here.]
