[A person!!! Kitty will let out a little "mya" as she goes over to play with this new person. She definitely has kitten energy, she's already batting at Hana's fingers.]
Yes, this is Kitty. Hopefully you don't mind if she stays here with us? She's used to the outdoors, so she's pretty self-sufficient.
[It's okay Tuuri totally does the high-pitched voice for Kitty too.]
I was thinking, I should ask everyone what 'Kitty' means in their own languages, since the group I was with always just called her 'kitty' in their own languages. Kisu, Kisa, Missekat, and so on.
It's a never-ending job, but someone has to do it. It's so finicky too, the solar panels always give us trouble. Sometimes we have to sit for hours waiting for the batteries to charge.
Solar panels are a great idea, until you're stuck with overcast weather for days on end. I could never have the patience for them. You get extra points for that!
It works for what we had to do. I've heard of coal and gas-powered vehicles, but they're not practical when you're going to be outside of the safe zones for months on end.
You are very right about that. [ nodnod! ] The mechs we operate use an energy reactor, which lets us go for longer periods of time, though we do have to be mindful of them overloading.
[ she waves her hand, dismissive. ] But that almost never happens, so it's fine.

[ pets for the baby!! ]
There's not an exact way to say it in Korean, so I think 'Kitty' will work just fine for me.

Kitty works! We just couldn't agree on a name for her when we found her, so we decided to call her that.

[ having the time of her life playing with kitty. ]
Having her here makes we wish we were able to have pets at the base, human company is fine, but they're not nearly as soft and cute.

I see...is that anything like a tank?
no subject
A little bit, yeah! It's a big robot that you get to pilot, a lot nicer than an old tank. Much faster too.

[A pause, and then:]
I drive it though! And I'm responsible for repairs.

[ very exciting! ]
Working on those old things must take a lot, I am very impressed.
