[She had heard someone say that name, but she didn't realize it was Nameless' name. That's fine, she can call him Micah too.]

I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, no. The bookstore looked the same as it did any other time I had visited it before.

Uriel calls him that, and she seems to really care about him.

[Maybe some of the others here do too, but Uriel's left a larger impression on him. He nods slowly at Tuuri's answer,]

...Right. The beek was a picture of a shattered mirror, right? Any guesses where it's from?

[Huh. Now she wonders why Uriel didn't say anything about [REDACTED].]

Probably the mirror house, but that's on an entirely different island. Why would she go there?

Maybe she was being chased? Hopped on the ferry to get away from them, and then chose somewhere to hide? That, or she just ran right into the house of mirrors. That place is pretty disorienting.

If she tried to hide in there, then whoever killed her might have started breaking mirrors to find her...poor Eto...

[She looks really upset thinking about it though.]

We should investigate the mirror house for sure, and probably this place too. Just to see if she left signs of where she was going.

[Lavi gets a similarly concerned look on his face...]

Eto's smart, so I can't imagine her not leaving something for us.

[puts pressure on lowe]

Was she carrying any weapons at all with her? Or a book maybe?

Not when we were awake, but it's possible she grabbed something after we were all asleep. Or she left us something after she woke up when we didn't.

She was pretty handy with those knives the other day. Maybe that's why she went to the other island -- so that she could arm herself there.

[polyglotti]

That's true...then we should check the circus too.

[She says this, despite knowing that if she goes looking in any of these places she will probably get extremely emotional upon finding evidence.]

Lavi glances at her again, then slows his walking down, eventually coming to a stop.]

I think we've made all the plans we can for now. Let's head back.

[polyglotti]

[She stops when she sees him stop, and she looks up at him questioningly. But when he speaks, her mood dips again and she rubs at her left shoulder as she glances away.]

...I guess you're right. If they hide the evidence, there's not much we can do until tomorrow anyway.

[fortunately for tuuri, lavi is bruised as shit right now, so his first paranoid instinct when he sees Tuuri rub her shoulder is,]

[She looks back to him, confused.]

I got caught in the bathroom.

...a bathroom.

[She sounds so flat as she says that.]

Why a bathroom?

I didn't plan to be there! [STOP, HE'S WRITHING IN PAIN] I got caught at the last minute!

[Oh no. She's biting her lip to keep from snickering.]

Did you have to share it with anyone else?

Junhyeong was there too. Akira and Ryo were out in the hall.

Why were there so many of you in or near the bathroom?

I didn't ask Junhyeong, but I think Ryo and Akira were caught the same way I was. Except they were on the other side of the door.

[I'm sorry, she's laughing so much now.]

Cut Ryo and Akira a little slack, at least. They were probably dazed after that adventure.




I deserve everything though.

What you deserve is to rest on a bed or a couch rather than a hard tile floor. Your back must be bothering you right now, huh?

[He does deserve the teasing too, she will keep teasing him about it.]

And if you have that much trouble finding adequate places to spend the night, just stick with me next time. I'll at least make sure you don't end up in a bathroom.
